  • Big Brother Big Sisters peeler cards buy one get one free. For great deals on restaurants and places such as Get Air, Axtion, Escape Quest, Frontline, McDonald’s, and Subway. Cards are $10.00 and are available at the office.
  • Reminder to students that you must pre-order recess and lunch for the cafeteria. You will not be served if you do not pre-order.
  • Students with missing work are reminded to complete the work by Monday Nov. 21st. Zeros have been entered in Powerschool as placeholders and will be permanent if the work is not submitted by Nov. 21st.
  • We found a lunch bag (grey and black). Owner can claim at office.
  • The social justice club is looking for volunteers. We are looking for anyone who is interested in speaking at an assembly that we will be having that focuses on how different cultures around the world celebrate holidays.
  • This event will be a part of our 12 days of Christmas which we celebrate annually, specifically Multiculturalism Day. For anyone who would like to share but does not want to speak at the assembly, we will have other options available for you to share as well.
  • Anyone who is interested, please join us at our next Social Justice Club meeting on Nov 22nd at lunch in the Rodger’s Room, or you can speak with Mrs. Neary in room 203.
  • Good luck to Gr 8 girls volleyball in MDJH tournament
  • There will be a leadership meeting on Monday at 11:39 in the Rodger’s room.
  • Students who have auditioned for Leary’s Brook has got talent are advised that there will be a practice performance at lunchtime today. Please come prepared (music, costumes, etc)
  • Art club will be continuing the lessons on drawing faces today. Students are asked to bring the following 1) their sketch book 2) ruler 3) a pencil and a good eraser 4) magazines with faces in them that we can cut out and draw on
  • Youth Open Mic & Coffee House, Sing, play a song, bust a move, juggle, slam a poem, perform stand up comedy. Share your talent! Fridays 7 to 9pm, October 27 and November 24, Paul Reynolds Community Centre, Ages 12 to 18, Cost is $4.
  • If you have any school appropriate pictures that you would like to have displayed on our tv and included in our yearbook, please email or come see Ms. Etchegary in Rm 219.
