Parents and Guardians

We wish to advise you that Leary’s Brook Junior High will be dismissing early today, as the result of a smell throughout our building. In an effort to clear a plumbing issue at the school, a cleaning agent was used and the smell has travelled throughout the building. In consultation with District staff, a decision was made to close the school for the afternoon. Please be advised that all students are safe and a thorough ventilation of the school will take place this afternoon.

Buses will be departing the school at approximately 11:40 this morning.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
